Hawaiians Teenage Love WORK

With a love for our beautiful islands, our therapists work with warmth and aloha while adding the technical skills of diagnosis, and treatment selection based on the most current psychological research. Our clinicians skillfully apply evidence-based treatment in a comfortable, accepting environment.

With a sacred stone in hand, twelve-year-old Kino hides from bullies in an ancient grass hut on display at Bishop Museum. In a blinding flash, she travels back in time to 1825 and meets a young boy who is destined to become King Kamehameha III. Together they go on an epic adventure facing sharks, Night Marchers, wild boars, and more as they collect the four items Kino needs to return home. I love this fantasy story with Hawaiian kids as heroes because it treats Hawaiian history and culture as both magical and ordinary rather than sensationally exotic.

Aloha and welcome to Lavahut! As a family-owned business, we're honored to have been a part of our customers' special moments over the years. From intimate beach weddings to unique family reunions, we've been privileged to share in their celebrations of love and connection.

When you come to Nā Mea Hawaiʻi, we hope you find something new to love when shopping goods created by local artists in Hawaiʻi, from towels to homemade natural skincare, local foods, beautiful koa wood bowls, and more.

Kids age five and up can put their energy to use kayaking up the class 0 river, 2 miles each way. The destination is Uluwehi Falls (aka, Secret Falls) where you will enjoy a 1.5 mile round trip hike to view the 120 foot waterfall. While there are a few tour companies available, we love this tour.

If you have a train enthusiast toddler or young child, this is a hit. Our son Henry absolutely loves trains and loved every minute of this train tour. Take a trip on the 2.5 mile rail line while learning about the crops and hearing stories about the history of the island. This is a working farm so there is plenty to see.

I'm the co-founder, with my husband Jordan, of The Hawaii Vacation Guide. We have lived on Maui and Oahu and continue to travel, experience, and learn about the Hawaiian Islands. We travel with our kids, Henry and Edith, and sometimes our little dog Hattie. I am a planner! I love to plan trips from the mainland and island-hopping adventures, excursion days, and everything in-between. I spend a lot of my time in Hawai'i on a SUP and my favorite time of year in Hawai'i is whale season!

A group of teenagers came to the restaurant and wanted to eat something that was different from their usual order. The owner brainstormed this fun, filling creation that layered everything the teenagers loved.

and I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I love to eat, I love to cook, I love everything about food. Especially food in Hawaii. I'm a writer and consultant, specializing in food, hotels, and tea. Aloha! 041b061a72
